The end of the physical store?
Is this the end of the physical store?
The retail environment is changing at a rapid pace. Where previously physical stores were the primary location for transactions, this is now shifting online. Retailers can no longer focus on the transaction as their primary goal.
Technological development and the ease of online shopping results in a retail sector that has to change at lightning speed. Covid-19 only accelerated this process and ensured that every demographic is embracing the benefits of digital shopping.
For these reasons, traditional retail is mainly focussing on new (direct) sales channels. Most businesses are not concerned with every customer touchpoint for your brand. How do you enter the market? Do you have a harmonized strategy with your sales partners? How do you ensure that all individual domains work well together and that the customer is well-informed and continues to buy your products and services?
One of the solutions is the omnichannel strategy. This strategy can be described as: the consumer is placed in the center and the organization is set up on the basis of the customer journey and the needs of the consumer. This creates a synchronized brand experience across all channels.
So are you responsible for one or multiple sales channels within your company and you want to know more about the ultimate omnichannel strategy? Let’s go have a cup of coffee.
